Kenneth was born in Dickinson, N.D., to Mildred and Charles Kostelecky. In his younger years, Ken would often, with his brothers, cause mischief and have run-ins with the local law enforcement for their silly boyish pranks and antics.

He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army and fought in the Vietnam War, where he earned a Purple Heart. He retired from Sorlie's as a truck driver.

He liked to play sports such as softball, pool, and was an avid bowler. He also liked woodworking, camping, watching WWE wrestling and the Denver Broncos; but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He was previously married to Loretta. He then married the love of his life, Dee Dee, and they shared many beautiful amazing adventures.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Audrey.

He has left behind brothers, Marvin (Yvonne), Dennis (Deb), Randy (Connie), Duane, Francis (Brenda), Doug (Marjean); sister Coleen (Rich) Fink; son, Brian (Elaine) Kostelecky; daughters, Brenda Chandler, Tara Kostelecky, Brandi (Tommy) Dedmore, Chelsie (Dathan) Sims, Calea Madera; stepsons, Andrew (Jennifer) Beck, Jason (Ricki) Miller; and he was blessed with many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Life is a "Hell of a deal" and we all will miss you forever and always!

Viewing will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 19, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 20, at Michelotti-Sawyers. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
