Kevin Grusing

On a beautiful June night as the sun went down on Hog Back Mountain, Kevin sat under the Elvis tree asking God to help him find a place where he could live in peace. God then took his hand and led him to a place that we call heaven.
Kevin loved the outdoors. It didn't matter if he was fishing, hunting, golfing, four-wheeling, watching his boys play baseball or just sitting around a fire drinking beer and telling stories.
Kevin John Grusing was born in Missoula, MT on September 22, 1963 to Harold and Bonnie Grusing. He grew up surrounded by love. He was the middle son of three boys and was often known to cause a little trouble by teasing his brothers Steve and Doug. When Kevin was 13 he was blessed with a little sister, Cheri Lynn. Cheri and Kevin spent a lot time together over the years getting to know each other and helping each other with life.
On October 14, 1989 after 6 long years of courtship and a lot of wondering if it would ever happen, he married the love of his life Lori Alles Grusing. Three years later, a son Kody John joined the family. He spent the next couple years getting to know his son and sharing things that only a father and son can share. Then, two and half years later, Josh David was born and his family was complete. Kev was so proud to be a dad. He loved to spend time with his boys teaching them what he loved to do.
Kevin is survived by his wife Lori, sons Kody and Josh of Billings, father Harold of Billings. mother Bonnie of Maryville, TN, brothers Doug (Kathy Lynn) of Locust Grove, Georgia, Steve (Jill) of Spring Creek, Nevada, sister Cheri (Jesse) of Sheridan, Wyo., Step sister Lisa (Bill) of Billings, Step brother, Chris (Cherie) of Shanghai, China. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Kevin is proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents Barbara and Clements Ebach, paternal grandparents Louis and Mildred Grusing, step-mother, Laurie Grusing, step father Earl Gohn, and mother-in law Bette Alles.
Services will be at 10:00 am, Monday, at St. Bernard's Church.
