Born in Fargo, N.D., on Jan. 29, 1925, to his parents Bernard R. and Florence Casey Krebsbach, Kevin Krebsbach was raised, grew up, and graduated from high school in McClusky, N.D. He entered the U.S. Marine Corps in August of 1943, serving in the Marine Corps Aviation until his final tour of duty in North China, March of 1946.
Kevin was a lineman for Otter Tail Power Company and Northwest Bell, then was employed by Bell Engineering Dept. He married Allene Small in 1951 and graduated from ND State School of Science (now State College of Science) in 1953. He then worked for engineering firms in Fargo, N.D., and Pelican Rapids, Minn. He moved to Billings in March of 1957 to work with Associated Engineers, an electrical consulting engineering firm founded by Fred Liquin. KP was overall Project Engineer for telephone outside plant projects in 11 western states. This included job coordination between clientele, resident engineers and contractors. He became a partner in the firm and enjoyed working with many fine people, plus flying the company's airplanes for 30 years. Much good time of his life was spent hunting, fishing and camping with his friends and family. After retirement, he enjoyed RV-ing with his wife throughout the U.S. KP was a member of the American Legion and Golden K Kiwanis.
Survivors include his daughter: Renita (John) Weber in Little Falls, N.J.; son Kurt (Davina) and grandchildren (Joy, Kyla, and Kip) in Miles City; brother Bernie, Lodi, Calif.; sister Margaret Garnaas, Bettendorf, Iowa. He was preceded in death by brothers Tom and John.
Memorial mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at St. Thomas the Apostle. Interment will follow in Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park.
