Lana Beth Deringer went home to the Lord on Sunday morning, Feb. 11, 2018. Lana was born to Russell N. Deringer and Gayle E. Deringer on Nov. 7, 1972, in Bozeman. Lana is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Gayle; and her older brother, Mark Allen. Lana is survived by her sister Natalie and brother Cole, who not only lost a business partner, but a friend.
Lana grew up in Billings and graduated from Billings West. Lana received an associate's degree in graphic arts from the Billings Business College. Lana graduated from Montana Tech with a degree in liberal studies with a minor in business in 2008.
Lana enjoyed being a retail clerk. She started in retail while in high school for Shopko and continued in retail at various places for most of her career, most recently at the Butte Walmart. In addition to being a retail clerk, she was property manager of the family rental properties for 15 years.
Lana was very tenderhearted and loved animals. She usually had one or two dogs, "her fur babies," that adopted her. Lana was fun-loving and enjoyed helping coordinate activities for parties. She was an avid coin collector and enjoyed panning for sapphires.
The family wishes to thank the many prayer warriors and healthcare professionals in Butte and Billings that were there in her time of need.
