Lance Alan Ennis Profile Photo

Lance Alan Ennis, 56, passed away in Billings, on Feb. 13, 2023.

Lance was born to Alan and Linda Ennis on May 20, 1966, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He grew up in Billings, making many lifelong friends throughout the years. In his younger years he enjoyed motorsports, baseball, football and softball. He graduated from Billings West High School in 1984.

Lance married Sue on May 1, 1993. They were blessed with their son Brady on April 24, 1997. Lance never missed a sporting event of Brady’s and loved summer trips to Red Lodge with the family.

Lance was always a hard worker. He worked at Buttreys, Intermountain Distributing, and painted with his brother-in-law Toby for 20+ years. His most recent job was at Valley Distributing.

He loved his Rottweilers and his Raiders. You could often find him at the local bar causing havoc with his friends and, if he knew you, he had a nickname for you. Lance enjoyed golfing with his buddies throughout the years. He had an infectious smile and a sparkle in his eyes that so many came to love and know.

He is survived by wife Suzanne, son Brady, parents Larry and Linda Ennis, sister Lisa Saur (Toby) and 10 nieces and nephews.

Hold your people tight, say I love you, ask for help, and remember it's okay to not be okay.

A celebration of life will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Yellowstone Country Club. We will be planning a family interment of his ashes this summer.
