Leslie Eva Morin

Leslie Eva Morin, of Ashland, passed from this world to the next on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at the age of 77. Leslie was born Aug. 16, 1942, in Miles City to Les and Mary Beatty-Snodgrass. The youngest of 11, she grew up in Ashland, and attended Rosebud for her high school years, graduating in 1960. She moved to Denver, where she attended banking school and worked in a bank until her return to Ashland in 1967, when she started working at St. Labre and retired after 43 and a half years. During that time, she met and married her husband Lyman on May 30, 1971.

Leslie enjoyed playing cards, snowmobiling, camping and being with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Leslie was one of a kind and known for her kind and caring nature; she will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Lyman Morin; daughter Garla (Garlon) Williamson; son Lyman "Ty" Morin; four grandchildren, Jaden, Jairus, Tyleah and Jaydus; her brother, Ralph (Mary) Snodgrass of Billings; her sister, Sharon (Gary) Knudson of Great Falls; nieces and nephews; as well as her adopted children, Bridgette King, Lynette Bighead, Jonny Jo Little Owl, Tom King, Jr., Stuart Gardner, Tony Bear Comes Out and Leroy Not Afraid; and special friends Dennis Druggan and Nellie Speelman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Dicky, Jim and Albert; sisters Helen, Phyllis, Audrey, Ilo and Thaida.

A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at St. Labre Mission Park. Burial will follow in the Ashland Cemetery.
