Lester Alan (Scheuerman, Jr.) Trudeau (known as L.A.), age 49, of Billings, fought his last mighty battle with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer in the Billings Clinic Hospital. At 11:11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, he earned his wings and Heaven gained a beautiful Angel.

L.A., born in Lawton, OK, on Nov. 3, 1969, lived his life as most of us wished we could. He was one of a kind: intelligent, sensitive, kind, honest, reliable and always willing to help anyone without expecting anything in return. He was an avid animal lover, fascinated with Greek mythology and a collector of everything. A walking Google and Thesaurus - a sponge, constantly absorbing new knowledge for his business and arming himself with facts for his "occasional" debates on Facebook.

For nine years L.A. served his country - Gulf War, Desert Storm, Germany, several U.S. bases - and, after a year in Korea, decided to leave the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge and settling on a career of construction and Christmas lighting in Enid, OK.

He left Enid and moved to Billings in 2011 to join his soul mate and finally found the family and community he had always desired. L.A. touched many, many lives and was loved by all who knew him. He was our hero. He was our Captain America.

L.A. is survived by his loving wife, Victoria; their four wonderful children, Anthony, Kayla, Kelly, Gina; and one adorable grandson, Ryker, who was his pride and joy (all of Billings); his loving parents, Louis and Barbara (The Woodlands, TX); and his beloved younger brother Aaron (Spring TX); along with countless family members and friends, all of whom he dearly cherished.

Isaiah 57:1-2

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.

Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.
