Lillian Lydia Hausauer, daughter of John and Sophie (Koenig) Renner, was born on March 13, 1929, on a farm north of Beulah, North Dakota. She was employed in Bismarck when she met Rudolph “Rudy” Hausauer. They were married on July 20, 1950, in Bismarck. They lived on a farm near Kief, North Dakota, and moved to Bismarck in 1957 and to Billings in 1967.
Lillian was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, and was active with Altar Guild, Women of Peace and sewed quilts for Lutheran World Relief.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Janice Hausauer of Bozeman; son Lyle Hausauer; daughters Karla (Mike) Kane of Kalispell and Connie Hausauer of Billings; five grandchildren, Marie (Ziad) Bouassi of Seattle, Washington, Katie (Alex) Lundbohm of Whitefish, Connor (Rachel) Hausauer of Belgrade, Lauren (Wyatt) Nielson of Belgrade and Jacob (Chelsea) Hausauer of Whitefish; five great-grandchildren, Rudie Lundbohm of Whitefish, Harper Hausauer of Belgrade, Leroy Nielson of Belgrade, Zoe Hausauer of Belgrade and Jack Lundbohm of Whitefish; one brother, John Renner of Beulah, North Dakota; and many nieces and nephews.
Lillian is preceded in death by her husband Rudolph “Rudy” in 1991; son Les in 2013; her parents; and two sisters, Della Renner and Deloris Wiedenmeyer.
