Linda D. Walters
Linda D. Walters, 73, of Billings, passed away on Jan. 3, 2022, in Billings.
Linda was born on Sept. 23, 1948, in Billings. A graduate of Billings West High, she went on to get her art and teaching degree from Eastern Montana College. She taught in Scobey for a short time, later returning to Billings to work at American Photo Lab, where she met Bernie Stefanski. After working together and becoming friends with Bernie and his wife, Linda and Bernie established their own business, Exhibits West, specializing in photo restoration and custom printing. After selling the lab, she remained with the business Supra Color Labs until the business closed in 1999. She continued working, doing restorations traditionally until her death. She held several part-time retail jobs during her later years. She was proud to own the home she had grown up in and the beautiful flower garden she created there. She was a member of the Yellowstone County Master Gardeners, and enjoyed photography, painting and crafts of all kinds. Her biggest love was her flower garden, which was featured in the Billings Gazette.
Linda is survived by her brother, Clint (Jamie) Walters of Billings; several cousins; her constant companion, her Lhasa Apso, Zoey; and some very close friends who became part of her family.
Private family graveside services will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
