Lois Kathryn Hoskins

. On Friday, September 22,2006, Lois Kathryn Hoskins passed away peacefully.

Lois was born on April 17, 1916 to Lottie and Harry Saiki in Three Forks, Montana. She attended high school in Three Forks and graduated in 1934 as Valedictorian of her class. Her family moved to Butte shortly after graduation, and Lois attended Butte Business College. She remained in Butte working for Commercial Credit Co. where she met her husband, William H. Hoskins. They married in 1942. After a couple of years of Army life, Lois and Bill returned to Montana and lived most of that time in Billings.

Lois worked for Commercial Credit Co., Humble Oil Co., and Midland Bank, now US Bank. Lois and Bill enjoyed traveling and made several trips to England and Australia. Her home, garden and family were her greatest joys. It was a great journey.

Lois is survived by her children, Tye Hoskins and Susan Peterson, her grandchildren, Cienwen Peterson, Todd Hoskins (Marla) and Lance Hoskins (Christine), and her great grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, Mara, Shae, Lauren and Nicholas Hoskins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill, and son, Jon.

Services will be held at 10:00 o’clock a.m. on Friday, September 29,2006, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, located at 119 North 33rd Street, Billings, Montana. Michelotti Sawyers is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to St. Luke’s Foundation.
