Lois Marie Morehouse

Lois Marie Morehouse died peacefully at home, on July 17, 2018 in Billings, MT due to complications following kidney cancer. She was 67 years old. Lois was born on January 13, 1951 in Fosston, MN to parents, Ruth and Gordon Jellum. She grew up in Glasgow, MT and graduated from Glasgow High School in 1969. She enjoyed fishing and boating with family and friends at Fort Peck Lake. Lois moved to Billings in 1984. In 1993, she began working at Walmart and retired after nearly 25 years! In her retirement, Lois dedicated her time to keeping up with her grandchildren and caring for her garden and flowers. When diagnosed with cancer in May of 2018, she remained a brave, iron-willed woman, even throughout her final weeks. Lois is survived by her daughter, Jamie Morehouse of Billings; son, Nolan (Tricia) Morehouse of Littleton, CO; siblings, Gale; Diane, Carol, Susan, and Steven; and five grandchildren, Taylor, Devynn, Ellie, James and Rayni. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Morehouse and siblings, Dennis, Don, Gloria, Mary, and David. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, July 22, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave, followed by a reception. Interment will be held at Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park after the reception. All are welcome.
