Loretta B. Grosz, 87, of Billings, passed away Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at Billings Clinic.

Loretta was born on March 1, 1930, in McLaughlin, South Dakota, to Sam and Clara (Weller) Buchwitz. She married Walter O. Grosz in 1947, and the couple moved from their North Dakota farm in 1952 to Anaconda, where they opened a Dairy Queen. In 1969, they sold the Dairy Queen and moved to Billings. Loretta was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, gardening, music and puzzles. She was a longstanding member of First Alliance Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Eileen Kriskovich (Jerry), Linda Grosz; and son Gary Grosz (Tali Anne); 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Buchwitz and Clara Weller; stepfather Henry Grosz; husband Walter O. Grosz; five brothers; and a sister.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at First Alliance Church, 1835 Central Ave. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
