Lucile Eleanore Love

Lucile Eleanore Love, 92, of Billings, passed away peacefully on July 19th, 2018. Lucile was born in Hardin, MT, on January 29th, 1926, to Minnie (Kilsher) and Oscar Landon. Lucile attended grade school at Sarpy Creek, in Sheridan, WY and graduated high school from Lodge Grass in 1944. She went on to attend Billings Business College. Lucile was a bookkeeper for the Billings Clinic for 32 years and took great pride in her work. Lucile met the love of her life, Howard Clinton Love, and they were married on September 29th, 1949. They were blessed to have spent almost 68 happy years together. Lucile and Howard loved going camping and fishing every chance they had. Throughout their lifetime together, they had two furbabies, Rex and Buffy, who were their best companions. Lucile and Howard also enjoyed many trips to casinos nationwide and enjoyed spending time with their nephews and nieces. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Lucile is survived by her sister, Donna Esp, sister-in-law, Evie Love and her nieces and nephews. A short viewing will be from 10:00-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 25th at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary and Crematory, 1001 Alderson Ave. A private family burial will follow after the viewing. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Butterfly Homes and all of the caring workers that gave Lucile such wonderful care these past few years. We can't thank you enough.
