Marcella ‘Sally’ (Fasching) Rogina

Marcella "Sally" (Fasching) Rogina passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017, after a two-year battle with cancer. She was an amazing mother, grandma and great-grandma.

She was born on Oct. 18, 1936, to Edward and Rozina (Stroh) Fasching in Beach, N.D. The family moved to Billings when she was young. At the age of 5, she lost her father; her mother later married Louie Drewniak, whom Sally looked up to as her father.

Sally married the love of her life, Eugene "Gene" Rogina on April 24, 1954. They lovingly raised six children together. Gene passed away on Christmas day, 2013.

Gene was self-employed most of his life. He took great pride in owning "Gene's Appliance Service." Sally spent her days as secretary and bookkeeper, as well as raising six children.

Sally is survived by her brother, Mike (Carol) Fasching; her sons, Wes (Tammy), Scott (Juanita) and Randy; three daughters, Pam Rogina, Teri (Leon) Pattyn and Brenda Reidy. She also leaves behind 12 amazing grandchildren, Warren (Morgan) and Brandon (Gina) Pattyn, Tiffany Rogina, Laramie Kolczak, Travis (Raina) Garritson, Jozie Bowman, Levi and Cody Reidy, Scott, Jaylee, Eddy and Grace Erickson; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Clarence "Buster" and LeRoy "Jiggs" Fasching.

We would like to thank Dr. Edward Malters and his staff for taking such good care of both our parents for many years; they adored him. Also, many thanks to the staff at Compassus Hospice Care.

Services will be at 1 pm. Thursday, May 4, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave. Interment of cremated remains will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
