Margareta (Marg) Martha Quashnick-Dangerfield-Bohnen, 72, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, Wednesday, July 25th, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on the family farm in Ashley, ND on October 23, 1945. She valiantly fought cancer for 13 months. Mom was married to our father, Gordy Dangerfield in 1966. He passed away in 2001.

At 21, yes, 21, she married our father, Gordy Dangerfield, and took on the responsibility of five children from a Gordy's previous marriage, who she and Gordy fought for. Because of mom and dad, we all know the Lord's prayer, can read music, and that camping is a must. We thank God in good times... we seek Him in struggles, you always answered your phone, or called back ASAP. We all have a strong work ethic and we know how to plant a garden. Your sons were taught to build with their hands and purchase real estate, your daughters were shown the same. Thank you forever for saying "Yes" to dad and becoming our mom, our love follows you.

Mom spent her early career in the medical field, which was appropriate as she was a care taker her entire life. She worked at MAPI (Montana Associated Physicians, Inc.). Marg and Gordy created, owned, operated and published the Montana Land Magazine for 20 years.

Mom married Larry Bohnen on a cruise ship in May of 2007.

Mom was a woman of strong faith and loved to be at church with her family. She was a lifetime member of the Lutheran Church and was proud of her Lutheran heritage. Her home in Hawaii was always open to any of her family and friends and many of us visited her there often. She was a lifetime member of the Elks Club. She had friends everywhere and made friends anywhere she was.

Mom loved to spend her winters in Arizona and Hawaii where she had homes for 35 years. She enjoyed her golf and had a bitchin' 1932 Candy Apple Red Ford Roadster golf cart which all the kids enjoyed driving. She loved to spend time at car events with her husband Larry, including the Bonneville Salt Flats, Back to the 50's, and Barrett Jackson.

Marg is survived by her husband, Larry Bohnen; her five children, Randy (Amy) of Billings; Reggie (Val) of Billings; Vicki Wahrlich (Steve) of Billings; Robin (Tracy) of Billings and Cindy Chapman (Scott) of Bothell, WA; 25 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by Larry's children Larry Jr. (Sara) of Billings; Natalie Bohnen & Doug May of Billings and Randall of Billings.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Martha Quashnick, siblings Julius, Walter and Esther.

A celebration of life will be Friday, July 27, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 24th & Lewis, at 3 p.m. Aloha attire is welcomed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverstone Hospice Foundation.
