Margaret Mahoney Converse, 99 of Billings, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at her home. Through her faith in Jesus, she is home with Him now. Margaret was born March 3, 1916 in Nashville, Tn. She attended grade school and Junior High in San Angelo, TX be for returning to Nashville for High School. She moved to Billings in 1947 where she met Robert "Bob" Converse. They were married June 30, 1954. Margaret loved people, loved to read and loved shoes! She was a snappy dresser and loved her hats. Her favorite place on earth was the Teton Mountains. She looked forward to yearly trips there. She made many friends through the years as a member of various organizations including, First Presbyterian Church, Yellowstone Country Club, Rotary Ann, the Billings Symphony Association, Landmarks, and Yellowstone Art Museum. She loved Billings and enjoyed sharing its history gleaned throughout the years living here. She loved her family. Her most treasured relationship was with her granddaughter Mykal. Survivors include her daughter Anne (Richard) Henson, granddaughter Mykal Eden, Emily Henson, Katie Henson, Jenny (Kyle) Simmons and great granddaughter Scarlett Simmons. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, and her parents, Annie Mae and Timothy Mahoney. Please come celebrate Margaret's life with us 11am Saturday, March 28th at First Presbyterian Church. Memorial may be made to First Presbyterian Church or the charity of one's choice.
