IN LOVING MEMORY OF
MARGARET A. FERRO
NOVEMBER 12, 1920 - SEPTEMBER 18, 2018
Margaret Ferro, 97, loving wife, mother of four sons, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed from us on Sept. 18, 2018.
Margaret was born Nov. 12, 1920, to Alferius and Monica Friedt. She grew up on the south side of Billings, where her parents owned the Friedt Koal Company. In April 1945, she married Tommy Ferro, and to this union she had four sons. She was very active in the Little Flower Parish and was well known for her lasagna. She was the lunch lady at Garfield School for many years until her retirement. After her husband passed in 2001, she moved to West Park Village, where she resided for 16 years. She made many friends and loved her community at West Park.
She is survived by her sons Larry (Sarah); William (Carol); Thomas (Martha) and Marco (Julie), as well as her grandsons Peter (Jodie) and Paul (Gina), and great-grandsons, Ryan, Dylan, Landon and Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years; her grandsons, Joshua and Isaac; and her 14 siblings.
We will miss the twinkle in her eyes, her beautiful smile, gentle loving heart, her "momisms" and her laughter. The family appreciates all the wonderful care provided by the loving staff at West Park Village, and RiverStone Hospice. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice or RiverStone Hospice.
Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at Calvary Cemetery. A reception will be held 2 p.m. Friday, at West Park Village on the lower level.
