Margaret "Margo" Irma Snyder Mosbaugh was born on Dec. 20, 1913, in Fayetteville, Ark. She died at St. John's Lutheran Nursing Home on Dec. 19, 2011. Her parents were John C. Snyder, Sr. and Addie Stewart Snyder. She spent the majority of her early life in Memphis, Tenn. She married Theodore Davis in 1936, and their son, John Stephen "Steve" Davis, was born in June 1944. For many years, she worked as a legal secretary in Memphis.

In the summer of 1963, she married Harrell F. Mosbaugh in Billings, and spent the rest of her life enjoying the people and the places of Montana. She and Harrell took many trips and particularly enjoyed the Beartooth Mountains and fishing the Yellowstone River.

She was active in First Presbyterian Church of Billings and was a dedicated volunteer at Billings Deaconess Hospital and then later at the Billings Clinic. She and Harrell delivered Meals on Wheels for many years. She enjoyed golf, bridge, the Yellowstone Art Center, the Billings Symphony and the Alberta Bair Theater. Well into her 90s, Margo served as president of the Phoenix Condominium Complex.

She is survived by her brother, John C. Snyder, Jr.; her son, John Stephen "Steve" Davis of Naples, Fla.; and her two grandsons, John Stephen Vanover and Robert Austin Vanover, both of Los Angeles. She is also survived by four of Harrell Mosbaugh's five children and their families.

Her family is grateful for the dedicated care-giving of Vonnie Blackford, Visiting Angels and all of the staff at St. John's Lutheran Home, and the kindnesses of her many friends who took time to visit.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at First Presbyterian Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Billings Clinic foundation or the Billings Symphony in care of Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary.
