Margery Mae Mccracken Hudson

Margery Mae McCracken Hudson, 89, of Billings, died March 4, 2023, at Avantara Billings Nursing Home in Billings.

She was the seventh child of Fred and Hazel (McCarty) McCracken of Billings. Marge spent her childhood in Billings, attending Garfield Elementary and Lincoln Junior High, and graduating from Billings Senior High, class of 1951.

Marge worked outside the home at various locations throughout a fruitful life: Mountain Bell, Great Western Sugar, Montana Power and Northwest Energy before retiring.

Marge married Daniel Jared Hudson and they raised three children: Kathy Stabio (Billings), Scott and Lori Hudson (Sheridan, Wyoming), and Lori Hudson (Sacramento, California).

Marge is survived by her three children, above, and grandchildren Cortney Hudson (Sheridan Wyoming), Corby and wife Crystal Hudson (Gunnison, Colorado), Heather Stabio (Billings), Jeff and wife Jennifer Stabio (Red Lodge), Jeff Hudson (Sheridan, Wyoming); as well as several great-grandchildren.

Marge enjoyed golf, working in the yard, and times with the Red Hatters, donating time at Alberta Bair, Deferred Prosecution and Stephens Ministries.

Marge was preceded in death by her parents; her six siblings: sister Dorothy and brothers Guy, George, Robert, Ralph and Don; along with grandchildren Scotty and Kasey Hudson.

Marge’s Children wish to bless their mother and thank her for everything she scarified throughout her life on behalf of the Hudson Family. They would also thank all friends, relatives and individuals who shared their friendship and lives with Our Mother & the Hudson Family.
