Marie Hensel Lefor, 90 of Billings, passed away on January 24, 2012 at St. John's Lutheran Home. She was born the 3rd of ten children, to Nick and Elizabeth Hensel, on a farm near Lefor, No. Dak., on September 17, 1921. She was educated in the country school nearby.

Marie married Albert S. Lefor on June 18, 1947. They lived in Gladstone, North Dakota until 1954 when they moved to Billings. In Gladstone, she was active in the Homemakers Club and Altar Society. Together, they had two children, Elaine and Gary.

She loved flowers, sewing, painting and dancing Polkas and Waltzes. She also enjoyed traveling in her younger years.

Marie is survived by her son Gary of Billings. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert and her daughter Elaine.

Funeral Mass will be held at 12 p.m., Friday, January 27, at St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral. Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The casket will be open at the mortuary on Thursday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and prior to the mass at church.
