Marilyn Hofeldt, 63 of Laurel, Montana passed away in the early hours of March 1, 2006, at the Billings Clinic.
Marilyn was born in Denver, CO on November 19, 1942, to the union of Albert and Charlotte Lohr. She was raised in Denver and graduated from high school there. She met Gary Hofeldt in Colorado and the were later married. Marilyn and Gary spent 29 years together until his passing in 1997. They were blessed with three children; Gary, Jr., Lisa, and Michelle.
Gary and Marilyn settled in Laurel in 1989, transferring with the Burlington Northern Railroad.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Gary, and her parents Albert and Charlotte Lohr.
She is survived by her brother Tom Lohr (Mary Lou) of Denver; sister, Eleanor Smith (Addison) of Tucson, AZ; son, Gary, Jr. (Julie) of Omaha, NE; daughter, Lisa May (her special friend James) and her children Christopher, Michael, Kylie, and Justin of McCook, NE, and daughter Michelle Hicks, and her son Davin Orozco both of the family home; Ron Dunn was a very special friend to Marilyn and her family.
Her absence will be greatly missed by all.
Cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Laurel. A reception will follow at the Cheerio Lounge.
