Marjorie Ann Gold Moberly, of Billings, joined her creator July 18, 2018. She was born April 26, 1940, in Miles City, to Johnny and Mary Gold of Stacey, MT.
Marjorie grew up on the family ranch in the typical rural life of south eastern Montana. She attended a one-room school and completed high school in Miles City. Marj then became a rural school teacher in south eastern Montana. Later, she worked for a local bank in Miles City, where she dated and married Roger Bundy. They then moved to the family ranch where they started their family.
After a divorce, Marjorie later moved to Billings with her two small children, where she met and married Don Moberly, joining her family with his. She became the stepmother to Ellen, David and Danny Moberly, whom she helped raise until they left home. During their years in Billings, she worked for Otis Elevator-United Technologies. Don Moberly passed away in 1981 and Marjorie once again singlehandedly raised her family.
In 1989, Marjorie and her daughter Stacey were graduated with BSBAs from MSU-Billings. Marj then began working for the State of Montana - DPHHS Vocational Rehabilitation and Blind Services, first as an administrative assistant and then as a teacher of the blind until her retirement in 1996.
Post retirement, Marjorie filled her time as voluntary treasurer for the Montana Association for the Blind-Yellowstone chapter, tooling around with her son Brock, knitting sough- after washcloths, beading, and painting with water colors and acrylics. Ever the teacher and spiritual woman, Marj counseled friends and family, loving them through the challenges and opportunities of their lives.
Our beloved Marjorie is survived by her daughter Stacey Horsfall (Terry), son Brock Bundy and sister Joyce Gniot (Doug). Extended family members include three stepchildren, three nieces and a nephew, their 19 children, five first cousins, many distant cousins and three honorary daughters. She is preceded in death by her son John Charles Bundy, husband Don Moberly, her parents and other extended family members.
