Mary K. "Lynn" DeCarlo, 80, of Billings, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, Nov. 15, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Mary was born Feb. 10, 1937, in Lovell, Wyoming, a daughter to Leonard and Ruth Lynn. She was raised in Lovell, and graduated high school in Powell, Wyoming. Mary later attended Eastern Montana College, where she met the love of her life, Carmen DeCarlo. Mary and Carmen were married in Laurel on Nov. 7, 1958.
Mary worked for many years at First National Bank in Billings. She also worked for Tupperware and Wells Fargo, where she retired from.
Survivors include her two daughters, Carla (Marty) Edwards and Connie (Jock) Michelotti, both of Billings; and her two sons, Nick (Jody) DeCarlo of Red Lodge and Gino DeCarlo of Denver; her two sisters, Jen Baird of Billings and Peg (Thayer) Cox of Powell; her two brothers, Tom (Connie) Lynn of Powell and Joe (Becky) Lynn of Cody, Wyoming. Mary is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Michael and Colson DeCarlo, Nora (Rodney) Johnson, Shad (Megan) Edwards and Matthew Edwards, Nicole Michelotti (Kirt Lasich, husband), Christina Michelotti and Marissa Michelotti (fiancé Brendan McGinnis); and seven great-grandchildren Andrue, Bailey, Gavin, Tyler, Linkin and Jax Johnson and Liam Michelotti. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews whom she held dear to her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dorothy Lohrenz and Norma Baird; two brothers, Kay Lynn and Bill Lynn.
Mary loved spending every chance she could with her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook and bake - best known for her pizzelles! She filled her spare time by attending baseball, basketball, soccer and football games of her grandchildren. When she wasn't spending time with her family, she was spending time with her friends at Curves or attending her "bible study" group! Mary spoke her mind and always got right to the point, which we grew to love. She was the best wife, mother, grandma and friend anyone could have. She will be dearly missed by all of us, but we are thankful she is at peace and reunited with Carmen in God's arms.
A vigil service will be offered at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave., in Billings. A private family interment will be in Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to RiverStone Hospice House, 2230 Mission Way, Billings, MT 59102 or charity of your choice.
