Mary Leibinger, 92, of Billings, passed away peacefully on Dec. 22, 2006, surrounded by her family at Valley Health Care after a short illness.
Mary was born Feb. 28, 1914, in Tracy, MT, the daughter of Valentine and Katherine Gregovich. She grew up in Tracy and married Ed Blumfield in 1934. They made their home in Great Falls where they raised their only child, Sharon.
Later, Mary married Boyd Revell, and they remained in Great Falls. Mary and Boyd ventured to live in Denver, CO, Indianapolis, Indiana and Dayton, Ohio. Sadly, while they were living in Dayton, Mary's beloved daughter passed away leaving two young children, Lee and Dawn, behind. Mary and Boyd unselfishly raised both children loving them extensively. They did so without reservation and with much adoration and love.
In 1976, Mary, Boyd and children moved back to Montana. Boyd passed away in 1980. Mary was blessed to meet and marry Herm Leibinger in 1986. Mary's grandchildren, Dawn and Lee, and great-grandchildren Brent and Lindsay happily accepted Herm into their family and enjoyed many years together. Herm passed away in 1999.
Mary's life was centered on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished their special times together and lavished them with love. She watched them grow into responsible adults and was extremely proud of their accomplishments.
Mary is survived by her granddaughter, Dawn (Darrell) Bell of Billings, MT; great-grandson Brent Bell of Billings, and great-granddaughter, Lindsay Bell of Washington D.C. She also has numerous nieces and nephews scattered across the country. She is preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Collins, grandson Lee Collins, six sisters and two brothers.
