Mary “Lu” Schaenen

Mary "Lu" Schaenen, 86, passed away on March 24, 2016, in Rio Verde, Ariz. Lu was born on Dec. 8, 1929, and was raised and lived in Billings.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Dave Schaenen; daughter Diane Schaenen; grandson Justin Schaenen; and brother/cousin Kenneth Rambold.
Lu was a gracious, giving and generous person. She loved to play golf and bridge. She volunteered for many years at St. Vincent Hospital. She enjoyed being a "snow bird" in Arizona for more than 20 years, and she and Dave took over 16 cruises in various places around the world.
She will be greatly missed and will live forever in our hearts.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 1, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave., with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
