On Oct. 15, 1962, he married Delores (Knaup) Muth. Together, they had three children, raising them in Billings. Maurice worked for Carbon Implement for many years and retired from Tractor and Equipment Co. after 18 years in 2005. Maurice was a member of the Knights of Columbus and active in the Moose Lodge in Billings. You would see him there taking money on Tuesday nights for Taco Tuesday. Maurice collected toy tractors and built replicas of them, and he enjoyed spending countless hours collecting and sorting coins, or just sitting and doing search-a-word puzzles. He enjoyed going home to North Dakota to spend time on the family farm with his brother Donald, driving around side by side just looking around the countryside.

Maurice is survived by his daughter, Darla Berumen; brother Donald (AnnaMary) Muth of Gladstone, North Dakota; sister Adaline (Verne, deceased) Samek of Bakersfield, California; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
