Michael John Gerber, 35 of Billings, died on June 13, 2006 at his home. The trials of this world were more than he thought he could bear, and he decided it was time to move on.
Mike was born on January 16, 1971 in Billings, MT. He received his GED and went on to the College of Technology-Billings. He graduated from the Automotive Program with honors. He was an ASE Certified Mechanic and enjoyed fixing cars for his friends and family. Mike was a very hard worker and was currently employed at Ideal Manufacturing as a welder, and part-time at Little Ceaser's Pizza on Central.
Mike's favorite activities in the summer were fishing and camping. He enjoyed spending time with his children who he loved dearly. He was a huge fan of Monster Trucks. He was also an avid collector of collectable cars. He listened to the music of Rob Zombie and Nickelback and his cousin Andre's band, Endever.
Those left behind include his wife of 6 years, Vickie Gerber of Billings; his children, Brooke Chestnut (13), Kaylee Gerber (6), and Brandon Gerber (3). He is also survived by his mother, Maria E. Crowley; brother Al McLees (Mary); Aunt, Patricia Ann Schultz (Arlen); Uncles, Marcus Crowley and Robert Crowley; and cousins, Andre Brown, Michelle Klein, Aimee Crowley, Kevin McCuin, and Daniel McCuin. He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Gerber; grandparents, Marcus and Maria Crowley, and his aunt Jean.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Monday, June 19, 2006 at Harvest Church in Billings Heights. Cremation will follow the service.
Memorial Donations may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses or to be placed in a trust for Mike's children.
