Molly Irene (May) Peterson

Molly Irene Peterson (May) passed away in California July 2, 2018.

She was born to Terry and Judy May on Jan. 18, 1971. In her childhood, she enjoyed camping with her family around Montana, and youth group events with American Lutheran Church. She graduated in 1989 from Billings West High School and then moved to Portland where she began her life on the west coast, mainly in California. Molly became very versatile with her work life. She was able to adapt and make things work wherever she landed. Molly's big smile and enormous heart won people over in all her endeavors. She married Danny Peace and had two children, Ryan and Thomas. She now joins her beloved Thomas in heaven. Molly loved people and her talents of human connection were felt with all who met her. Molly could express humor and goodwill in so many ways, but always battled demons jeopardizing that happiness and joy. Molly loved all the children in her life with immense passion: Dana, Mattea, Esai and countless others. She will be greatly missed by her lifelong friends and family.

She is survived by her son: Ryan Peace, husband: Scott Peterson, parents: Terry and Judy May, sister: Katie Burke (Danny), granddaughter: Dana Peace and the Tilzey family, uncle ‘Bookie’ Troy Ley, extended family Carrie Flores (Adam) and Cori Lackman.

Cremation will occur and she will be laid to rest near her son, Thomas Peace. A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 28th at Laurel City Cemetery. A celebration of her life reception will follow at the home of Terry and Judy May. In lieu of flowers please send memorials to Christikon Bible Camp.
