On November 20, 2006, our beloved wife, mother, and friend entered into eternity with her Lord and Savior. Joyce, as she liked to be called, loved and was deeply loved by her family. She will be greatly missed.

Joyce was born in Bismarck, ND on May 18, 1931 to Vernon and Ora Mae Henderson. The second of four girls, Joyce grew up in the Bismarck area. On August 12, 1950, she married her high school sweetheart, John Neibauer. In their 56 years together, they had 10 children.

Joyce served as the head cook and camp manager for the Yellowstone Bighorn Research Association Geology Camp in Red Lodge, which she did for 10 years. Joyce loved football and hosting family gatherings. She was an excellent cook and baker. When her children were young and all still at home, Joyce made 21 loaves of bread each week. She was devoted to her husband, her children, and her cats. She was an awesome wife and mother and typified the Proverbs 31 woman.

Joyce was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Gerard. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John; and her children, Deborah (Andy) Lawson of Pompey's Pillar, MT, Susan Hendrickson of Staunton, VA, Karen (Ahmed) Matar of Billings, Bernie (Holly) Neibauer of Columbus, MT. Stephanie (Dwayne) Williams of Minneapolis, MN, Mary (Troy) Hendrickson of Townsend, MT; Linda (Glen) Luebking of Littleton, CO, Nancy (Mark) Bartlett of Elizabethtown, PA, Douglas (Junko) Neibauer of Moreno Valley, CA; her sisters LaVerne (Bob) Thompson of Bismarck, ND, Dodie Sullivan of Port Lyons, AK, and Ora Jean (Ed) Gunderson of Bismarck, ND; 26 grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.

We love you Mom and we'll be seeing you.

Cremation has taken place. The rosary will be said at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, November 24, followed by the Vigil service at 5:30, both at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Memorial Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, at St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral.
