Myrna Boos, 71 of Billings, passed away at her home on August 29, 2006. She was born on February 9, 1935 in Hopkins, MN to Carl and Betty Realander. She attended school in Hopkins, graduating from Hopkins High. Shortly after graduation, she moved with some friends to Southern California, later returning to Minneapolis, MN to take a job with the Department of the Army.

It is there that she met her future husband, Daniel Boos. They were married in Minneapolis and started their family of three children. Together they moved to Billings in 1970.

As her children were growing up, Myrna stayed home to care for her family. In 1978 she went back to work for the government, working primarily for the Bureau of Land Management until her retirement in 2000.

Myrna enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Tom (Angela) Boos of Billings, Amy Boos of Sacramento, CA, and Beth Turnbull of Olympia, WA; grandchildren, Jessica and Jillian Turnbull and Jackson and Lauryn Boos. She was preceded in death by her sister, Char Ricke of Anoka, MN and her parents, Carl and Betty Realander of Hopkins, MN.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, September 2, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
