Myrtle Eleanor Jochim passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018. She was born Jan. 13, 1920, in Finley, North Dakota, on a farm without electricity or running water, survived the Great Depression and WWII, raised five kids, and lived to see color TV, computers and cell phones. Our Mom, a "tough old Swede," graced this earth with 98-plus years of her presence and left us with many, many wonderful memories.
Her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids were her life. She is survived by her sons, Dave (Mary), Bellevue, Washington, and Steve (Ginger), Draper, Utah; daughters Linda, Queen Creek, Arizona, and Margaret (John), Roundup; grandkids Katherine, Stephanie, Eric, Jordan, Teresa, Deanna and Angela; and great-grandkids Avery, Eleanor, Jadyn and Layla. She is preceded in death by her husband Otto and son Doug.
A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to St. Vincent DePaul Society or a charity of your choice.
