Nick Leenknecht

Nick Shane Leenknecht, born July 27th, 1955, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 4th, 2012.

Nick was the middle of three children born to Frank and Shirley Leenknecht. He is survived by his mother, his two sons, Josh and Luke Leenknecht, his brother, Tony Leenknecht, and his sister, Tina Keller. He was looking forward to being a grandpa to his unborn grandchild who is expected to arrive in October.

Nick spent 29 years as an employee at A&I distributors. He enjoyed camping and boating with his two sons and loved their dogs. He was admired for his caring personality and his ability to make anyone laugh. Nick will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Memorial Services will be held at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary on Wednesday, May 9th at 2:00pm. Celebration of Nick’s life is to follow at the Shrine auditorium.

Memorials may be directed to the family for Nick's grandchild.
