Olga Kaiser Profile Photo

Olga Kaiser peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018. Born in Billings on Sept. 9, 1934, the city remained her home for 83 years. She was the daughter of Russian German immigrants, Henry and Katie Heine.

Olga married Benjamin Kaiser on Sept. 21, 1951. Blessed with 58 years together, they raised their children, Deborah, Stephen and Sarah. Olga carried the main responsibilities at home while helping her husband in his grocery businesses as the bookkeeper. The family enjoyed traveling around the United States, camping, fishing, swimming, sledding, playing games, puzzles, and long weekends at Chico Hot Springs. Olga was an avid scrapbook and photo album keeper. She also enjoyed flower gardening.

Olga's legacy to her family is one of deep spiritual and lifestyle significance. She held a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ as Messiah and King to whom any can come to find grace, forgiveness and immeasurable love. She also believed that with such great grace came great responsibility to learn all one can about God and His Kingdom. Her great desire for herself and her family was to daily live according to His best and greatest will for our lives. In her last years, motivated by her great love for God and study of His Word, she found great delight and peace in choosing to observe the Biblical Sabbath and the Feast Days appointed by her King. Her life was indeed one of trust, grace, love and obedience. Now in the presence of her Savior, she has entered into her fullest destiny, free from the pain and constraints her tired body had entrapped her in the past few years.

Olga is survived by her children, Deborah and Tim Munson (Shepherd), Stephen and Linda Kaiser (Santa Clarita, California) and Sarah Niebeling (Billings); one sister, Alma Pederson (Helena) and one brother, Jim Heine (Billings); four grandchildren and their spouses; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Katie; three brothers, Rueben Heine, Art Heine and John Heine; and four sisters, Polly Kaiser, Caroline Buttman, Ann Hartpence and Minnie Taylor.

Her husband, Ben, passed away in November 2009.

The celebration of Olga's life will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave. Interment will take place at Mountview Cemetery, followed by a reception at Everlasting Covenant Congregation, 1304 Central Ave.

The family requests that gifts in memorial be made to two of Olga's favorite causes: the Aliyah program through Jews for Jesus and the Orphans Promise through The 700 Club.
