Patricia Joan (McBride) Reichenberg, 84, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017, peacefully, at home, with her husband and loving family by her side.

Pat was born in Billings, MT, on May 17, 1933, to Curtis McBride and Frances Regnier McBride. They divorced and Frances married Paul Vincelette in 1941 in Bremerton, WA. Pat lived in Bremerton, WA, where her stepdad worked in the shipyard during the war, returning to Billings after the war was over. Pat attended Pine Hills County School in Lockwood and went to Fratt Memorial for seventh and eighth grade. She graduated from Central High in 1951, first class to go freshman through senior years in the new school. During high school, Pat started working at the Fox Theatre in 1948, becoming bookkeeper there after graduation.

Pat met her soul mate and love of her life, Elmer "Lum" Reichenberg in 1950, while Lum was home from being stationed in San Diego. They were married in 1953, in St. Patrick's church in Billings, and returned to San Diego to live, where their first son was born at Mary Hospital there. In 1954, they moved back to Billings and added five more boys and a girl to their family. Pat was a room mother and den mother early on during her boys' grade school years. Pat and Lum became extremely involved in their children's activities and Little League, following their boys for 16 years from Little League through American Legion Scarlets baseball and onto Softball games at Stewart Park, Fast pitch at North Park and Girls Softball at Poly-Vista Park and college ball. They also attended all the high school and hockey out of town games in Montana, Idaho, North Dakota and Canada.

Pat was a member of St. Helens Circle and charter member of St. Pius Altar Society.

Pat continued to play cards with the same bridge club that was started in 1960.

Pat's best times were bookkeeping for her husband at Automotive West, for 29 years, a business which they owned.

They loved their traveling adventures, which included Caribbean and Mexico cruises, California-Disneyland and three separate trips to Cabo San Lucas, one to attend their eldest son's wedding. They enjoyed spending their birthdays in Jackpot, NV, and vacationing in Arizona at son Rick's home and San Francisco at son Brad's home.

Pat especially loved her backyard paradise, a place of where many flowerpots hung and a pond with a waterfall and fountain could be heard trickling. She loved to sit and do her crossword puzzles and enjoyed many family gatherings there with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Lum; seven children, Rick (Patricia) of Scottsdale, AZ, Brad (Jona) of San Francisco, CA, Kirk (Diane), Renee (Joe Ratcliff), David (Lil), Mike (Mary) and Tim, all of Billings; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and one on the way; one sister, Darlene Loran; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mom, we love you and we will miss you every day.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 15, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 16, at St. Pius Church. Memorial donation can be made to St Pius or RiverStone Hospice.
