Patricia Ricci, always choosing life, every day! On Thursday, May 12, 2016, Patty took the final spin in her beloved Caddy. She drove to meet friends for lunch. What a surprise when she opened the door to be met by her beloved Joe. "Time to hang up the keys, Patty," something only he could tell her. With her husband on one arm, and her son David on the other, not skipping a beat, Patty stepped into heaven; greeted by the Lord Jesus Himself!
Patricia was born on Sept. 16, 1926, to Robert and Helen Watson, in Livingston. After graduation, Patty did secretarial work for several agencies, including The War Man Power Commission. Patty was highly esteemed for her organizational skills. In 1947, she met the love of her life in Billings, and soon became the proud and supportive military wife of Cesare Joseph Ricci. They were the loving and devoted parents to four children, 17 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Patty was a skilled, full-time homemaker and impeccable seamstress. She was an avid Bridge player and enjoyed bowling. Music and dancing filled her with immense joy. She was known for her contagious laugh and her straightforward commentaries on life. Our mother's abiding faith in God's promises carried her through life.
Patty was preceded in death by her son David and her husband "Ricci." Survivors include her daughters, Janice Roberts (John), Roberta Depner (Dan), Karla Larrabee (Rick); younger brother Robert W. Watson; and her devoted nieces and nephews. Patty will be deeply missed by her many loving and loyal friends.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration service will be scheduled at a later date, with a reception to follow.
Memorials may be made to First Christian Church for their Outreach Ministries in Billings and in Kenya, Africa.
