Patrick Hernandez, 23, went home to be with the Lord on March 21,2006.
He was born June 18th, 1982, in Billings, MT, a son of Demetrio Hernandez and Phyllis (Schied) Larsen. Patrick attended Eagle Cliffs Elementary, Riverside Junior High and Sky View High School. He was a free-spirit who traveled across the United States over the past 8 years and touched the hearts and lives of many people. At a young age he had a deep compassion and concern for the homeless. He gave away his clothes, his food and his money to help them.
Music was Patrick’s way of expression. He sang, played guitar, saxophone and piano. He wrote poetry that came from his heart in a language that spoke of him. He was a gifted artist; he enjoyed drawing portraits of people and pictures that reflected his thoughts and feelings.
“Patrick, you have only been gone for a few days. We can still hear the laughter in your voice and see the smile on your face. You showed us how to live our lives to the fullest and not to judge others. We love you and will see you when it’s our time to go home.”
Patrick is survived by his Mother, Phyllis (Lynn) Larsen of Shepherd; Father, Demetrio Hernandez of Hardin; Sister, Andrea (Tony) Martin of Billings; Brother, Benjamin (Stormey) Hernandez of Huntley, Nephew, Gavin Martin; Nieces, Jada Martin, Nevada, Marisa, Brooklyn and Asia Hernandez.
