Philip Matthew Cline Profile Photo

Philip Cline, 26, of Billings, joined his heavenly father on Aug. 17, 2022, following an auto accident.

Philip was the baby of the family, born to Barbara Hemmer Cline and Mitchell Cline on Dec. 8, 1995.

As a child and during grade school, Philip moved around with his family and was an avid soccer player. The family settled in Billings, where Philip attended Lewis and Clark Middle School. He loved skateboarding and playing drums in band. Philip then attended Senior High School, where he made many friends and played in the honor drum corp.

He worked in many areas of employment, including Pizza Hut and in the roofing industry. He recently found his calling working in security/residential caregiving for autistic adults.

Philip loved the outdoors, especially fishing. He enjoyed fitness, working out and running with his dog Mizukie. He was happy hanging out with friends, having dinner with Mom on Mondays or playing video games. Dad recently introduced him to golf, and Phil was ready to hit the links.

He had so many plans and so much left to explore. We will forever miss our beloved boy, but we find comfort knowing he is in heaven with his grandparents, brother Buddy, and good friend Todd.

Phil is survived by his mother, Barbara; father Mitch and stepmom Lori, all of Billings; brother Joseph Cline and niece Brooklyn of Texas; sister Brittany (Matt) Cullison and niece Chelsea of Wyoming; many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. He is also survived by his fur-baby family: beloved dog, Mizukie and two cats, Sonny and Cypher.

Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave. Reception will follow at The Post at the Billings Depot, 2310 Montana Ave., Billings.
