Ramona Manning

.Ramona devoted her life to her family. Ramona was born on October 10, 1922 in a little log house with a dirt floor, in New Helena, NE. Her guardian angel took her away to Heaven on May 14, 2012. Her son Greg and daughters Pam and Marcia were at her side.

We remember one story she told us...running through fields to make the grasshoppers jump and not be afraid of them. Another story was about her brother Ron and she would play Soldiers and he was ALWAYS the Captain. Mother told us many stories of her youth and life that we will cherish.

Ramona was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Francis (Bud) Manning; her parents Rollie and Gretta Williams; grandmother Dora Murray; brother Claire Williams; sister-in-law, Fran Williams; and Yvonne Williams.

She is survived by her children, Pamela Delahoyde and her husband Jim, Marcia Voss, and Greg Manning and his wife Deborah; as well as 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.

Without Journey Hospice Care we could not have made it through this journey. They have been true angels to all of Ramona's family!

Cremation has taken place. No services are planned locally.
