Richard Walter Reichenberg

Richard Walter Reichenberg, of Billings, passed away on June 30, 2016.
Richard was born on Aug. 14, 1947, in Billings, to his parents, Ruth Scheidt Reichenberg and Walter G. Reichenberg. He attended Billings schools and graduated from Billings Senior High in 1966. He served in the United States Navy on the nuclear submarine U.S.S. James Madison until 1972.
His parents preceded him in death, as well as his youngest sister, Helen Reichenberg Powers.
He is survived by his sons, Clayton and his family in Charleston, North Carolina, and Christopher and his family in San Diego; his sister, Lenice Reichenberg Byrd and her family of two nieces and a nephew; his aunt, Donna (Jim) Polen and family; uncle Elmer (Pat) Reichenberg and family; numerous cousins and many friends.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Montana Rescue Mission or Family Promise.
