Robert “Danny” Benders

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Daniel Benders announces his passing on July 27th, 2017.

Danny was born in Billings, MT on September 24, 1977 to John and Linda Benders. He grew up in Boyd, MT and graduated from Joliet High School in 1996. Danny was a Montana boy through and through. He lived for the outdoors. Growing up you could often find him on the nearest lake or stream with a fishing pole in his hand.

Danny was the kindest soul you would ever meet and was very much a free spirit. He loved his family and his children Alora and Ben very much. Danny's road of life at times was paved with difficulties but in recent months he was working hard to make positive changes and lead a healthy and happy life. He had welcomed God into his life and was putting up a good fight. We all love Danny greatly and he will be hugely missed.

Danny is preceded in death by his mother Linda Benders and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his children Ben Suckow and Alora Best, father John Benders, sisters Jenny (Ryan) Keeland, Leah (Todd) Krumm, and Tori Benders, niece Darian (Thomas) Iiams, nephew Cason Krumm, Aunt Debbie (Louie) Fincher, extended family Bruce, Chyrel, Jory, Brett, and Jesse Mckee and several cousins.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary.
