Robert Walter Criswell, 76 of Hysham, MT passed away at Horizon Hospice Home in Billings on April 6, 2009. Bob was born in Hysham on March 31, 1933 to Leslie and Myrtle Criswell. He attended school in Hysham, graduating in 1951.

Following high school, Bob joined the United States Navy. After his honorable discharge, Bob returned to Hysham to work. It was there he met Marj Icopini. They were united in marriage on September 17, 1956.

Bob is survived by his wife Marj Criswell of Hysham; sons, Gordon (Lisa) Criswell of Colstrip, Don (Becky) Criswell of Roundup, and Scott (Beckie) Criswell of Billings; grandchildren, Tony (fiance , Vicki), Kevin (Tawny), Darren, Renae, Aimee (Reid) Mikkelson, Jillian (Demian) Rickman, Broc, and Rachelle (Derrek) Christman, great-grandchildren, Braeden, Dylan, Bryce, Ethan, Catherine, Dreycen, and Kyler; sisters, Joyce (Karl) Muri, Dolly Howell, and Kay (Bob) Petermann; brother-in-law, Ernie (Marian) Icopini; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, April 9, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Memorials may be made to RiverStone Hospice or the charity of one's choice.

Remembrances

I have fond memories of Bob growing up. I remember every branding and how he would endlessly give me a hard time. He had a way of handling Grandma Monty that was especially admirable.
