Robert Milo Hector

Robert Milo Hector died Nov. 27, 2017, in Billings. Bob led a successful career of 30 years as a Marketing Manager for Delta Airlines. Before working for Delta, Bob proudly served in the United States Army as a General's Aide in Japan after graduating from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota.

After his retirement from Delta, Bob was an elected Conservation District Supervisor in Montana and this position reflects his lifelong commitment as an outdoor enthusiast and champion. He loved all things outdoors, and devoted much of his time to hunting, fishing, camping and riding. In his official capacity, Bob helped to write grants that funded many environmental causes. Bob designed several traveling educational experiences that taught students about the importance of clean water in the state.

Bob rarely spent time idle and loved to share his passions and his stories with everyone. From flying to England to return home with a beloved English Bulldog to the numerous hunting stories with his friends and family, he always had a story to share. One of his most prized hunting stories was his successful bighorn sheep hunt in the Pryor Mountains. Bob's outgoing nature, curiosity and sense of fun always led to interesting adventures.

Bob is survived by his wife, Priscilla; daughter, Gretchen (Ben); and brother, Tom (Michaela). Bob will be greatly missed by his many friends and extended family that cross the seven states where he lived and worked. It would be remiss not to mention that Bob loved his dogs, horses and mules. Bob will be missed and his memory treasured by the many people whose lives he touched.

Per Bob's request there will be no funeral services.
