Robert (Bob) Norman Voller, 91, of Billings, MT, passed away at home on February 5, 2025.  Bob was born on the family farm outside of Bowdle, SD, on April 13, 1933, to Esther (Linden) Voller and Jacob Voller.  One of four sons, Bob was raised acquiring many skills and gaining a strong work ethic.  Upon graduating from high school, Bob attended telegraphy school and then enlisted in the Army where he was stationed in Georgia and Germany.

After his discharge from the Army, Bob began his first career as a telegrapher/agent for the Milwaukee Railroad.  This position took him to Montana, where he met his future wife, Loretta Feeback, in Martinsdale, MT.  They were wed in Harlowton, MT, on June 9, 1957.  They had three daughters, Linda (Charles) Regan, Laurie (Bob) Degele, and Sharon Voller.  His family moved to several communities throughout Montana until they settled in Billings, MT, in 1970, where he lived in the same home the rest of his years.

Bob's work ethic and talents were widely known, so when the railroad went out of business, a customer offered him the position of plant foreman for The Builder's Mart where he worked until that company closed.  He was promptly hired as the building manager for the newly opened Alberta Bair Theater where he worked until retirement.

Bob spent most of his free time repairing small and large engines, welding, and woodworking.  His prowess at fixing even the impossible, quick turn-around, and generously low fees was circulated by word of mouth, and he was still repairing items at the age of 91.

Bob was a generous man who showed genuine interest in the lives of others but was quiet and modest in conversations about himself.  He was a proud father and grandfather.  Most of all, he was a devoted husband who cherished his wife of 67 1/2 years.  Over the past few years, Bob and Tudy became a unit, helping each other throughout the day.

Bob is survived by his wife Loretta, daughters Laurie (Bob) Degele and Sharon Voller, grandaughters Carmen Regan, Kelly (Darren) Bruncak, and Diane (Terry) al Mateo, grandsons Cassidy Degele, Cameron, Degele, and Chad (Justine) Degele.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Linda, parents, and brothers.

Per his wishes, there will be no services.
