Robyn Dietz Robyn Lyn Dietz passed away peacefully in her home August 4, 2011 surrounded by family and friends. She was the first of three children born to Richard and Carol Downer on November 1, 1964 in Billings, MT.

Robyn attended Billings Senior High School, and upon graduation married high school sweetheart, Ken Dietz in January 1984. A strong supporter of Ken's motorcycle racing career, the two traveled across the country from race to race before starting a family. That loving support carried on to the success of their children's passions. Robyn could always be found in the pits of son Phil's sprint car races gathering starting positions, cleaning equipment, and making sure everyone had plenty to eat. Daughter Ashley never traveled to a horse show alone. Robyn attended every show, ensuring both horse and rider was prepared and cheering from the sidelines. Phil and Ashley's accomplishments filled Robyn's heart with tremendous pride.

Robyn devoted her life to a strong faith in the Lord and shared her beautiful singing voice with others while playing piano in church and at weddings. While making time for herself, she developed a successful medical transcription and insurance billing business while also working for the Eastern Montana Co-op and Lockwood Schools. She was happiest when surrounded by family, friends and her dogs either playing cards, enjoying the outdoors, and eating great food, as she was famous for her chili and cinnamon rolls. Her infectious laugh along with her loving soul and courageous spirit will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Robyn is survived by loving husband Ken, son Phil, and Daughter Ashley; parents Richard and Carol Downer, brothers Doug (Cathy) & David (Lisa) father-in-law Ray, mother-in-law Patty, sister-in-law Kelly Selph, brother-in-law Jeff (Dana), nieces and nephews Bill and Chris Selph, Korrin and Preston Dietz, Justin and Seth Downer, Perinne and Belyn Downer, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be held at St. Bernard Parish Tuesday, August 9 at 10:30am with a luncheon and graveside service to follow. Donations in Robyn's memory can be made to Susan G. Komen For the Cure at 5005 LBJ. Freeway, Ste. 250 Dallas, TX 75244.
