Rodney Dee Wilkerson

In the early hours of July 24, 2016, Rodney Dee Wilkerson passed away at his home, with his loving and devoted wife by his side. Rod was 75 years old.

Rod was born on Oct. 28, 1940, in Borger, Texas, to Willis and Lucille Wilkerson. Rod married Susan Jacobs on June 16, 1990, and the two have been inseparable ever since. He served in the U.S. Army and, after a 33-year long career at Billings School District 2 in the Maintenance and Ground Services Department, he retired in 2002. He loved his wife, his country, fishing and hunting, specifically with those close to him in Roberts. Rod always had a story about the one buck or fish that got away, and we could always count on him for a good joke. His later years were spent tending to the neighborhood rabbits - they were well-fed. Rod was one of a kind; he will be missed and will always be loved.

Rod is survived by his wife, Susan; daughter Tiffany (Phil); grandsons Asa and Chayle; along with numerous loving in-laws and extended family.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 29, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave., with an interment of ashes service at Holy Cross Cemetery, and a reception to follow at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 120 S. 31st St.
