Ruth M. Maxfield, 82, passed away on Feb. 28, 2017, at Autumn Care Center in Billings.
She was born on Dec. 12, 1934, in Scottsbluff, Neb., to Elizabeth (Wombolt) and George Fox Sr. Ruth married Kinsey Maxfield in Billings on November 7, 1974. She worked as a waitress at Esquire Fine Foods, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Billings.
Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Kinsey Maxfield, who passed away on Oct. 5, 2003; her parents; her siblings, Alex Fox, George Fox, Jr., Amilea Bartel, Mary Brey, Katie Siemian, Frieda Iverson, Betty Waliser and Lydia Klundt; and her sons, Wade Wilson and Bill Maxfield. She is survived by her daughters, Valorie (Kevin) Bruce of Laurel, Rae Nell (David) Massey of Billings; grandchildren, Erica (Gregoire) Bouthier, Ashley (William) Song, Aaron and Courtney Bruce; and great-grandchildren Pénélope and Talia Bouthier.
Visitation will be 1-5pm Friday and funeral services 1pm Saturday at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
