Sharon Leone Rexford

Sharon Leone Rexford, 81, passed away peacefully at home early Tuesday morning, April 4, 2017.

She began her life as the sixth child of James and Margaret Manning on March 27, 1936; attended Hysham High School; and married Willis Rexford on March 19, 1953. Together, they made their home and raised five children in Hysham before their eventual relocation to Billings.

She leaves behind her husband, Willis, of 64 years; one son, Tracy (Barb) Rexford; three daughters, Shari (Del) Warren, Reagan (Dan) Litzsinger and Shannon Green; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marilyn Manning and Colleen Suhr. She was preceded in death by son Ryan Rexford; son-in-law Jim Green; her parents; three brothers, Jere Manning, Robert Manning and Ronald Manning; and a sister, Margaret Elaine Heberle.

Sharon enjoyed reading and entertaining on her outdoor deck when weather allowed. She never boasted of having a green thumb, but she tended to our family like we were all part of her personal garden. Thanks, Mom, for your guidance in cultivating our family tree and helping us put down healthy roots.

Services are planned for Saturday, April 8, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave., with a rosary to be recited at 10 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m.
