Sharon Stidham Profile Photo

Sharon Stidham passed away with her family by her side on June 21, 2015. Once again, Arnie has Sharon by his side, and we now have two special angels watching over us. On Aug. 15, 1943, Dr. Morgan delivered a daughter to Arnie and Hilda Dahlman in Red Lodge. Sharon grew up and completed high school in Red Lodge, and went to work for Mountain Bell in 1961. She was working the switchboard the day President Kennedy was assassinated. After the Red Lodge office closed, she transferred to Billings and continued working for AT&T until she retired in November 1990. Sharon first met Arnie Stidham when she was 13 years old. He always called her a "Stuck Up Little Brat." On Jan. 14, 1967, Arnie married that "Stuck Up Little Brat" in Cody, Wyo. Sharon was a devoted mother and a wonderful grandma. Her family was always her greatest joy in life and first priority. Her life was centered around her children and grandchildren. Her sons' friends always called her Mom, and her home and kitchen was always opened to them. Sharon loved her garden, her flowers and working crossword puzzles daily. Loved ones left to cherish her memories are three sons, Payne (Nichole) Stidham, grandsons Caeden, Colten and Payton; youngest son, Justin of Billings; and another son, Randy, who was from Arnie's previous marriage; and granddaughters Amanda, Andrea, Cassie, Darcy, Brandy and Ashley of Havre. A very special sister, Linda Beers of White Sulphur Springs; numerous nieces and nephews; and very special in-laws on the Stidham side of the family also survive Sharon. Her mother; father; grandparents; her husband of 34 years, Arnie; and a sister, Marlene, preceded Sharon in death. Caeden, Colten and Payton, time has a way of erasing all memories when you're young, but don't ever forget how much your Grandma loved you. You will always be the sunshine of my life! To my boys, thank you for being such wonderful sons. There's nothing else I could have ever asked for in life. I want you to be there for each other always. Love Mom...... Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave.
