Sharyn Kaye Bishop

Sharyn Kaye Bishop, an angel in every way, passed on to Heaven, at her home, on April 20, 2012, at the age of 69. During her eleven years in Billings, Sharyn suffered from several illnesses and a great deal of pain; however, she was loved by those she came into contact with, many saying what a "sweet" woman she was.

She cherished her three children, David Menard of Billings, Dawn Foley of Thousand Oaks, CA and her son Scott Menard, who sadly died at age 12 as a result of an accident. She recently became reacquainted with her niece, Tyra Leoply, from Lincoln, NE, and loved her dearly. Sharyn is also survived by her sister Regan (Chris) Hoellwarth, of Powell, Wyo.

Sharyn was born in Omaha, NE to Thomas and Phyllis (Carnahan) Hoover on May 12, 1942. She spent much of her life in Southern California. There she taught herself accounting and business administration, and quickly moved up the corporate ladder from secretary to Chief Financial Officer in the clothing industry. She was also CEO of a sound effects company, following the sudden passing of her husband Ron Clark. In addition to her son and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother Gary Hoover, her beloved "Mum" Phyllis and her father Thomas.

On March 16, 2002, Sharyn married Robert G. Bishop III. They had met while working in stores next to each other, and moved to Billings in late September 2001. Their love for each other was evident to everyone who knew them or just saw them together. She will be truly missed but with the knowledge she is finally pain free and at rest with the friends she met on this life.
