Sheila Kay Kessler, 58, of Billings, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at her home. She was born on Nov. 9, 1962, in Wolf Point.
Sheila was a self-starter and free spirit. Upon high school graduation, she traveled to Arizona and worked in business; then she was craving something new and off to California she went. She lived in southern California for many years, working for American Express as an event planner. Then she moved to northern California to work for a music production company. Sheila had the ability to master whatever was thrown at her. Her next journey brought her back to Montana, where she took over part of her parents' Shaklee business, which she continued until her death. If you gave Sheila a manual, she could figure anything out.
Sheila is predeceased by her father, Roy Kessler; and maternal and paternal grandparents. Survivors include her mother, Sandra Kessler; siblings Chuck (Patti), Debbi Hanna (Jim), Kandi Christophersen; several nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave. Reception will follow at Knights of Columbus, 2216 Grand Ave.
Donations may be made to the animal protection society of your choice.
The Kessler family would like to extend a special thank you to those who have helped with the arrangements the past few days: Alan and Sandy Knudson, Karla Johnson, Pam Chapin, Shelley Bernhard and Debra Davies.
